We collect the following data

• Your name and email address, and anything else you choose to tell us, when you contact us
• The details you give Calendly when you book a consultation with us
• Anonymous usage data about how this website is used, if you accept analytics cookies

There is no sign-up, account or contact form on this website, so we never collect personal data from you passively.

We collect and process data when you

• Email us directly, including via any email link on this website
• Book a free consultation with us through the Calendly link on our Contact page
• Are introduced to us by someone using our referral scheme
• Browse this website, if you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner

We use the personal data you give us so that we can

• Reply to you and discuss whether and how we can be of service
• Arrange and hold a consultation with you
• Carry out work for you, and manage that engagement, if you become a client

We use anonymous analytics data only to understand which pages of this website are useful, so we can improve it. It is never used to identify you.

• Legitimate interests - responding to an enquiry you have sent us, and running our business
• Contract - where we are carrying out work for you or taking steps to enter into an agreement
• Consent - for analytics cookies, which you can accept or reject via our cookie banner and withdraw at any time

Emails you send us are held in a 72 Days email inbox. Consultation bookings are held in Calendly and in our calendar. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to an ongoing or prospective engagement, and client records for as long as we are required to for tax and legal purposes, after which they are deleted.

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf

• Google - website hosting (Firebase Hosting), email, and Google Analytics
• Calendly - scheduling consultations

These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, that transfer is covered by the safeguards their own terms provide, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We do not run marketing campaigns and we will not add you to a mailing list. We will not use your name or email address for marketing, and we will never pass them to anyone else for theirs.

Everyone whose data we hold is entitled to

• The right to access - you have the right to request that 72 Days provides you with copies of the personal data that we hold for you
• The right to rectification - you have the right to request that 72 Days corrects any personal data we hold for you that you believe is inaccurate, or completes any information that you believe is incomplete
• The right to erasure - you have the right to request that 72 Days erases all of the personal data that we hold for you
• The right to restrict processing - you have the right to request that 72 Days restricts the processing of the personal data that we hold for you
• The right to object to processing - you have the right to object to 72 Days processing your personal data
• The right to data portability - you have the right to request that 72 Days transfers the personal data that we hold for you to another organisation, or directly to you

This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It runs in consent mode: until you accept, it sets no cookies and reports only anonymous, aggregated activity. If you accept via our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets cookies to recognise a returning browser. We never enable advertising or personalisation features.

We store your cookie choice itself in your browser's local storage so we only ask you once. To change your answer, clear this site's data in your browser and choose again when the banner reappears. Rejecting analytics cookies does not affect how the website works.

This website contains links to other websites, including Calendly, LinkedIn and the apps we have built. Our privacy policy applies only to our website, so you should read the privacy policy of any website we link to for how they process your personal data.
